WASHINGTON, DC CLIMB is JUNE 23rd at 09:00AM at the NATIONAL MALL! YAHOO!

It is important to note that attending the Climb Out of the Darkness is completely free.  NO fundraising is required to participate.  Members of our team don’t have to do anything, they can come just as they are, no matter what that means!

This event is family friendly! Bring the kiddos and the fam!

The Climb Out of the Darkness is a community walk and international fundraiser for survivors, providers, and members of the community to come together. Raising awareness for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, The Climb brings people together all over the globe near the solstice (the longest, brightest day) to shine a light on a darkness we often don't speak about. We share stories of hope and celebrate recovery as we gather together to raise money, raise awareness and give a voice to those who no longer have one and walk together to symbolize our 'Climb' Out of the Darkness.

Did you know:

1 in 7 women suffer from a mood or anxiety disorder during or after pregnancy?

1 in 3 women of color suffer from a mood or anxiety disorder during or after pregnancy?

1 in 10 men from a mood or anxiety disorder during or after pregnancy?

Stroller Strong Moms DC created this event and are so looking forward to support The Climb out of the Darkness!

Stroller Strong Moms is a unique, fun, and challenging full-body workout, but it is also so much more than just a fitness group. We are a community and we strive to bring together woman as moms and as athletes. We believe in showing our children that your body is the greatest instrument that you will ever own, and that through movement you can build strength. Our classes combine fitness with comradery, and offer an opportunity for woman throughout the DC area to come together under a common goal of bettering themselves, challenging themselves, and becoming the best version of themselves that they can be.
