The Climb Out of the Darkness is committed to bring people together, united, to honor the struggle to overcome PMADs.  We promote awareness, prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in every country worldwide. We support moms & dads, community programs and healthcare providers.

Our team is called Team Dover, New Hampshire.  Money raised through our team efforts will support women and families with postpartum mood and anxiety issues who live in the Dover area through maintaining the postpartum support group at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and providing postpartum doula services to women in need.  A small portion of the money will also go toward supporting Postpartum Support International's supportive programming for women and families.  

Our hike will be on Saturday, June 23rd at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.  We will walk around WDH and hike up to the neighboring park, Garrison Hill Park.  Registration will begin at 9am.  At 9:30am we will begin our hike up to the top of the hill. Once we reach the top of the hill in Garrison Park, we will have two brief speakers and then begin our descent down the trail and back to WD Hospital.  The hike distance will be about 1 mile in total.

This is a family friendly event and is completely free....registration is required....and fundraising is encouraged.
