The Perinatal Emotional Health Network (PEHN) of WNC is teaming up with Homegrown Babies to put on an event shining light on Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. We will be gathering, sharing, educating, supporting, and walking! Please join us in our efforts to bring more awareness to PMADs!

The Climb Out of the Darkness is committed to bringing people together, united, to honor the struggle to overcome PMADs.  We promote awareness, prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in every country worldwide. We support moms & dads, community programs and healthcare providers.

PEHN of WNC is a network of local professionals in the Asheville area who are passionate about spreading education about PMADs and their effects on families and communities.  We envision a time when women and families are not ashamed to discuss their struggles and can get the help they need without judgment.  

Homegrown Babies and Homegrown Families encompasses a comprehensive integrative support team of over 30 birth and postpartum doulas, educators, and integrative health practitioners with lifetimes of combined experience.  They work hard to provide the best in comprehensive and compassionate services from pregnancy to parenthood in Asheville and the surrounding areas.
