JOIN US to support postpartum families and overcome perinatal mood disorders!  The Climb Out of the Darkness is committed to bring people together, united, to honor the struggle to overcome PMADs.  Postpartum Support International promotes awareness, prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in every country worldwide. We support moms & dads, community programs and healthcare providers. 1 in 7 women battle Post Partum Depression or other Perinatal Mood Disorder (I am one of them)- please help raise awareness by donating to my climb and/or joining me at Crescent Park to walk with me.  Our local state chapter - PSI Louisiana is becoming more active and growing our membership. There is little existing support and education about PMADs in Louisiana and we need you to help build our community.
