My name is Kelly Thoele & I owe my life to Postpartum Support International (PSI). I sought out PSI after the birth of my daughter, Marley. I found PSI when I was in the darkest place in my life & PSI helped me find the light again.

Each year, PSI hosts a fundraiser walk/hike in cities all over the world called Climb Out of the Darkness®.

Climb Out of the Darkness® is the world’s largest event raising awareness of perinatal mental illness. The event is held every year on or near the summer solstice (the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere). Teams and their supporters gather to “climb out of the darkness” by gathering, walking, climbing, or hiking together to help shine the most light on perinatal mental illness and to raise funds to support the fight against PMADs.

This year I have volunteered to coordinate the event for the greater Orlando area, scheduled for Saturday, June 23rd at Southern Hill Farms in Clermont beginning at 9 am. 

This will be the first time Climb Out of the Darkness® will have a presence in the central Florida area!!!
