We promote awareness, prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in every country worldwide. We support moms & dads, community programs and healthcare providers.
The mission of Build Your Village Douglas County is to promote awareness, prevention, and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in Douglas County, Kansas. We are committed to serving and advocating for families experiencing or at risk for perinatal mental health conditions across all races, ethnicities, gender, religions, sexuality, and income-level.
Join the team and raise money and awareness! You can join the team, raise money and pledge to walk by pressing the "Join Team" button in the upper right hand corner. If you raise $50 by April 10th you will get a free Team Kansas T-shirt! They are also available for purchase for $15. If you raise $100 you will also receive a PSI shirt! If we reach our $1000 goal we will get a free Team Kansas Banner from PSI we can use for the climb and future events!
Where does the money go? 25% will go to PSI to help with global efforts, 25% will go to PSI Kansas to help with efforts on the state level and 50% will stay in Douglas County!
