Hello All!
We are the Membership Committee of PSI's Indiana Chapter and we are thrilled to be organizing this year's Climb Out of the Darkness fundraiser walk. Every member of our committee has endured the hardships of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and have come out of the other side thanks to the amazing support of PSI.
The Climb Out of the Darkness is committed to bring people together, united, to honor the struggle to overcome PMADs. We promote awareness, prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in every country worldwide. We support moms & dads, community programs and healthcare providers.
Donations made to the climb for Team Indianapolis will specifically benefit the Indiana Chapter to support programs for mothers and families fighting their own battles with PMADs. We are on a mission to break to the stigma. Statistics speak for themselves when 1 out of 7 new mothers will experience postpartum depression or anxiety. She could be your neighbor, co-worker, sister, or friend. Don't be silent. Help us in our mission to be their voice and support. Please join or donate today!

Our climb will be taking place from 11AM-2PM on June 23rd at Flat Fork Creek Park. 16141 E 101st Street, Fortville, IN 46040. Two honorary walks will be taking place at 11AM and 1PM to recognize those who have climbed to overcome mental illness. Both walks are around a path that is stroller and wheelchair friendly. Afterwards, families are welcome to explore the park’s amenities or partake in family picnics. Please bring blankets for seating and a sack lunch for your family if you wish. There will also be fun giveaways, raffle drawings, local vendors, and food trucks for moms, dads and children to enjoy!
